The Meetings Industry Council Annual Leadership Award
The Meetings Industry Council Annual Leadership Award recognizes individuals who demonstrate active leadership within the meetings and special events industry. This includes leadership within one or more MIC organizations, as well as the personal and professional integrity that allows them to stand out among their peers.
Selection criteria for the award includes, but are not limited to, positions held within industry organizations, committees the leader has chaired, and special projects or events they have assisted in organizing. The Awards Committee also reviews specific ways in which the winner has served as a role model to their peers. This includes work towards the advancement of the industry by sharing their knowledge through published articles, presentations to students or businesses, and stewardship for the industry with any multitude of organizations related to or impacted by meetings. Many of our past award winners have been recognized with awards from one or more MIC member organizations for the same efforts that solidified their selection as a MIC Industry Leader.
Please consider nominating someone who serves as a role model of an outstanding meeting and special events professional. The next award will be presented at the 24th Annual Educational Conference and Trade Show, March 26-27, 2024 at the Colorado Convention Center.
