While this year’s event won’t include the delicious and bustling food stations from our favorite caterers and restaurants alike, it will be an opportunity to connect, collaborate, and find inspiration.  Join the Meetings Industry Council of Colorado for an inspiring virtual program spotlighting the incredible work of the Food Bank of the Rockies!

Why:  

It’s no secret that the event industry has been hit hard in the wake of COVID-19.  It should be no surprise that the Food Bank of the Rockies needs have increased exponentially as well.  Last year SUH raised $34,500 to support the Food Bank of the Rockies, which equates to 138,000 meals.  We recognize that this year does not look the same as less and company and organization expenditures and personal budgets are needing to be less this year, with that our goal this year is to donate 100,000 meals! Thank you for helping us get there!

Tickets:

While our hope is that the MIC community shows up as we have in the past and we raise nearly $30,000 once again, we recognize this year is pivotal, and we know many of us are not in the place to support at the same level as we have in the past. Therefore we are offering two opportunities to receive an invitation to the Virtual Event.

1. A donation of any amount ($1 to $100,000) to the Food Bank of the Rockies through the Serving Up Hope donation link below, will serve as your ticket to the virtual event.
   *must donate through the MIC donation link.
2. Volunteer for the Food Bank of the Rockies at any one of our MIC Volunteer Days (see below) *must register to volunteer through the MIC registration link.

Please consider the following when making your donation:
Provide 200 meals ($50)
Provide 400 meals ($100)
Provide 1,000 meals ($250)

MIC VOLUNTEER DAYS:

MIC will be hosting Volunteer days at the Food Bank of the Rockies every third Wednesday leading up to Serving Up Hope. This is a great opportunity to press pause on all those zoom calls, get out of the house, connect and network with other industry professionals, give air hugs and high-fives while giving back for an incredible cause.

*Volunteers must wear a mask and will be helping pull and build orders in the warehouse; inspect, clean, sort and repack perishable and non-perishable grocery items for distribution; and assist partner agencies with loading. Most areas require the ability to move freely and lift up to 30 pounds.
