MIC of Colorado Hosts Record-Breaking Serving Up Hope Luncheon to Benefit Food Bank of the Rockies

Serving Up Hope 2025 Planning Committee and Donation Check
Denver, CO – MIC of Colorado proudly hosted its 32nd annual Serving Up Hope Fundraising Luncheon on Friday, November 7, at the Hilton Denver Downtown, bringing together over 425 meeting planners and industry professionals for an afternoon of hope and generosity. This year’s event thrived and raised an impressive $68,492.09 (and donations keep coming in), marking the largest contribution to the Food Bank of the Rockies in the history of the luncheon.
The funds raised will be directly donated to Food Bank of the Rockies, ensuring that 100% of proceeds go towards feeding individuals and families in need within the community. Attendees supported the cause through ticket sales, a lively auction, and an innovative QR code for miscellaneous donations. Additionally, the after-party included more opportunities for fundraising engagement with sponsors and attendees, further amplifying the luncheon’s impact.
“We are thrilled to have achieved such a monumental milestone this year,” said Stephanie Sadri, Board President at MIC of Colorado. “The support from our community and the dedication of our attendees exemplify the spirit of giving, and we are grateful for their generosity in helping us make a difference.”
Food Bank of the Rockies plays a crucial role in combating hunger in Colorado and Wyoming, serving as a lifeline for those facing food insecurity. “For [more than] 31 years MIC has donated enough funds for over two million meals for Food Bank of the Rockies,” shared Food Bank of the Rockies President and CEO, Erin Pulling.
Serving Up Hope is more than just a fundraising luncheon. It’s a movement driven by the meetings and hospitality industry professionals who recognize the importance of giving back. MIC of Colorado continues to advocate for meaningful change, demonstrating that together we can converge our efforts towards a common goal. This year’s luncheon stands testament to the power of collaboration and community support.
